PERFORMING THE  PRE-MAITUANA NAYSA                        NYASADOM.TXT

      Before a Tantra Maituana Ritual (sexual intercourse),
      the Yogi and Shakti (Yogini) perform a Nyasa (Closing the body parts
      protection ritual) on each other.

      This Nyasa seals and protects the body so the energy created by the 
      ritual remains in the two and circulates back and forth in the two. 
      It helps keep negative energy from entering the two from the outside 
      during the sexual loving. 
      It also protects the two from out of body beings that may be attracted
      to the two by the strong psychic energies that are created by sexual 
      intercourse.
 
      [This nyasa is a full Nyasa, differing from the six fold Nyasa that is 
      normally performed before any Tantra Ritual.]

      THE NYASA:

      The person performing the Nyasa holds their left hand open and palm up,
      at navel level, closes the right hand into a fist, the index and mittle 
      fingers are entended and touching each other.
      The two fingers are then used to touch each of the Nyasa points.
      When touching a Nyasa point, the toucher visualizes the point becoming 
      sealed; this mental attitude assists in the sealing of the places 
      touched.

      The Nyasa points are touched lightly, gentlty, softly in sequence with
      the two extended fingers and the Nyasa protection mantra is said as each
      point is touched.

      THE NYASA SEQUENCES:

      The Yogi lays down nude, face up on the bed and closes his eyes.
      Then the Shakti performs Nyasa on the Yogi.

       NYASA ON THE YOGI
       -----------------
       The Shakti says:

       AUM BHUR BHUWAH SWA

       As each Nyasa point is touched.

       The Shakti touches:

       FOREHEAD AT THIRD EYE CHARKA LOCATION
       RIGHT EYE
       LEFT EYE
       MOUTH
       THROAT
       RIGHT EARLOBE
       LEFT EARLOBE
       RIGHT BREAST NIPPLE
       LEFT BREAST NIPPLE
       RIGHT UPPER ARM
       RIGHT UPPER ARM
       HEART CHARKA LOCATION
       NAVEL CHARKA LOCATION
       RIGHT THIGH
       LEFT THIGH
       RIGHT FOOT
       LEFT FOOT
       LINGAM
       
       Then the Yogi opens his eyes and gets up.

       NYASA ON THE SHAKTI
       -------------------
       The Shakti lays down nude, face up on the bed and closes her eyes.
       Then the Yogi perforns Nyasa on the Shakti.

       The Yogi says:

       AUM BHUR BHUWAH SWA

       As each Nyasa place is touched:

       The Yogi touches:

       Then the Shakti opens her eyes and gets up.
