       Tantric Rituals:
       -----------------------------------------------------------------------
       1. The hands are washed before doing a ritual.
          [Better is a full shower or bath before doing a ritual.]

       2. The ritual clothes are put on.
          [Best is have and wear clothes that are made of only of 100 percent
          cotton or silk and are only worn for meditation and ritual use.

       3. The opening mantra is:

          Om Tat Sat 

       4. The insence is lit.
          [Best is to always use the same variety insence for spiritual
          practice.]

       5. A protection mantra is said:

          AUM JUM SAUH HAM SAH
          AVATI AVATI ASMAD
          SAH AM SAUH JUM
          
       6. The six fold nyasa is performed.

          A. Each of the following places on the body are touched with the 
             right hand clenched as a fist with the index and mittle fingers
             extended touching each other.

             CROWN
             THROAT
             BOTH HANDS
             NAVEL
             SEX ORGAN
             BOTH FEET

            As you touch each place you say the mantra:

            OM BHUR BUWAH SA 

            As you say the mantra at each touching you visualize that location
            being sealed against any outside energies entering you.

       7. The specific ritual is performed.



       8. The closing mantra is said.

          SAT NAM SAT NAM SAT NAM
          OM SHANTI SHANTI SHANTI
