Introduction to Wicca

	Every Full Moon groups all over the world gather together to
    celebrate life through the mysteries of the Goddess religion...Her faces
    are birth, love, and death, the Goddess with her consort the Hunter,
    Lord of the Dance of Life. These people, whether as groups or solitary
    practioners are Wicca..WHITE..Witches...Not your Halloween variety evil
    witches, but true witches, not Satanists--people actively seeking evil
    and dark powers--but true witches--wise women and men worshipping the
    Mother and her beauty, Her waterfall and herbs growing wild in the
    field, people "In tune with Nature" taking power and joy from the
    Mother herself and working actively to heal the damage done her every
    day. People who joyously accept that every thing follows a
    cycle...birth, procreation, and death. They live this cycle and
    celebrate life through ritual and free expression of the Spiral Dance
    of Life.
	 Wicca is a religion older than Christianity, Judaism, Islam,
    Buddhaism, and Hinduism. It is very different from all the male
    oriented religions as well. Wicca...The Old Religion of the Arctic
    tribes... Wicca takes it's beliefs from nature, finds joy in the flight
    of birds, the slow growth of plants and trees and celebrates the
    changing of the seasons...
	 According to legend Wicca is over thirty thousand years old, since
    the great Ice Plates advanced across Europe and as the temperatures
    dropped people became in tune nature, as their lives depended on Her...
	 Wicca has grown over the centuries, and at one time during early
    Christianity, was almost wiped out and caused to go underground by the
    leaders of male oriented religion which feared the power of women, the
    joy that humans should take in their own sexuality. The male based
    religion which used fear and predjudice to advance the spread of terror
    which made many families shatter and separate. By being accused of
    being a witch many petty people eliminated their competition in love
    and business...and the power of the Goddess was slowly undermined...
    Now there is a new upsurge of that power. Joyously people celebrating
    life and living the three fold law...That which you do to others, be it
    good or ill, will return to you three times...Do as you will, harm
    none...
