BELTAINE INCENSE

4 parts         Olibanum (Frankincense)
1 part          Benzoin Gum
1 part          Arabic Gum
1 part          White Bryony Root (Poor man's mandrake)
´ part          Oak bark
´ part          White willow bark
´ part          Damiana
3 drops         Lotus Oil
2 drops         Cassia Oil
10 drops        Bergamot Oil

Grind bryony to a powder, and arabic to small pieces. Add other gums,
barks and herb, and stir. Add oils, and grind to a coarse breadcrumb
consistency - not too much, or it will powder.

We were working specifically to integrate male and female energies, and
combined the Full Moon with the Sabbat. The incense worked very well; it
has a kind of earthy undertone (the barks) which is rather nice in a
Beltane incense.
