Purification / Consecration


    An Incense for Purification, Protection and Psychic Awakening.

      3 parts Gum Benzoin
      2 parts Frankincense
      1 part  Gum Mastic
      1 part  Myrrh
      .5 part Pine Resin (or alternately several drops of Pine Oil)

    All ingredients should be finely ground into a powder, and mixed
thoroughly.  Additionally a pinch of Dittany of Crete can be added.  This
incense smolders fairly quickly with a clean, sharp fragrence.

    An Incense for Consecration.

      1 part Sandalwood powder
      1 part Gum Copal
      1 part Gum Benzoin
      1 part Gum Acacia
           .5 part Gum Mastic

    Again all ingredients should be ground into a fine powder and then
mixed thoroughly.  This is a very pleasant, somewhat sweet and very quick
burning incense.
