Requirements for First Level

1.   Chose Craft name and Glyph

2.   Write Ritual for First Degree level with the help of your
     sponsor.

3.   Working with Personal power:
     Ground and Center           
     Make Shields
     Manipulate energy form (ie engery ball)

4.   Attend Meetings and Rituals

5.   Commit to the Coven

6.   List the 5 elements and have a symbol for each.

7.   Set up a personal altar in any one of the many styles and be
     able to justify why you set it up that way.

8.   Obtain the following tools:
     Athame     
     A symbol of faith   
     Power candle   
     Focal tool
9.   Name the four aspects of the Goddess.  Name the four aspects of
     the God.

10.  When and what are the individual Sabbats celebrated by this
     coven. (Approximate dates are acceptable.

11.  Know how to cast a circle.

12.  Is Wicca a religion or a philosphy?

13.  What do you consider your responsibilities to the Coven?  What
     are the Covens responsibilities to you?

14.  Write a short explanation of your views of the following words:
     religion      dedication     ritual    philosophy   meditation
     initiation    clergy         church    occult       worship
     symbols       prayer

15.  Obtain a robe for your initiation.

Just to let you know we also pass out to the sponsors copies of the Principles 
of Belief, Rede of Chivalry, The Law of the Power, and The Wiccan Way to be 
given to anyone interested in studying.  We also feel that nothing other than a 
robe and a symbol of your faith should adorn ones body when seeking a level or 
dedication.  As we have members who are not comfortable with going skyclad this 
way we are as close to The Lady and The Lord in the way we were born as possible
and do honor to both of them.
