Self Initiation                                                         



We see a lot of misunderstanding about what a self initiated solitary practicer 
of Wicca is and/or does. Compiled from several sources, the following five posts
should help answer many questions and help others determine where a solitary
might be coming from in a context that all will find understandable.
 
The first two posts are in the form of a personal question and answer session, a
personal inventory, to determine if the person feels ready and is or is not
ready to take the first degree.
 
This whole process requires a great deal of personal honesty, the Gods cannot be
fooled. <smile>
 
The next three posts are the ritual itself, broken into three parts.
 
Perhaps it is not as much fun as some of the kinky stuff we hear about in some
covens(?) but spiritually it is quite effective.
