WANING GIBBOUS MOON Gibbous moon disseminating First stir of darkness In the luminous sky Light begins to wane A time of harvest and bounty Hearts filled with gratitude Visions ripe with meaning The waning gibbous or disseminating moon appears from 3 1/2 days to 7 days after the full moon. The moon will rise during the evening and set sometime mid morning. Again we see the bulge on one side of the moon but it is now decreasing each day. Darkness is slowly moving in. Waning is underway. As we move again into the quieter phases of the waning moon We begin to appreciate all we have accomplished. It is a time of harvest of the hard work That went into the first half of the moon cycle.
