Items needed:

A feather
A piece of string 4-6 inches long
A strand of your hair
A piece of gravel from the road
 
Tie your hair around the feather.
Tie the rock to the feather with the string.
Put the whole thing by your bedside before going to sleep.
In the morning, take the whole thing and place it about 6 inches from the curb. 
Wait 24 hours before looking at it again.
 

If it is all right, then your travel will be ifne. If the whole thing is 
missing, then there is no definate answer. If one of the items is missing, then 
there might be problems with that part of your travel.
 
The feather represents the mode of travel.
The hair is you, the person.
The rock is the path you take. It is suggested that you use a stone that you 
don't mind losing and that might also represent earth, air or water. Otherwise, 
the rituals are of your own chosing.
